FAQ
* WHAT ARE SERVICES AT SRC LIKE?
It is our desire that as Colossians 1:18 says, "That Christ Might Have The Supremacy" in everything we do. Although we realize we will fall short of this lofty ideal, it is the goal we will strive for. Each time we meet for worship or study we will, through prayer, worship, and God's Word, read publicly, and proclaimed through a pastor or teacher, seek to point one another to Christ and His glorious Gospel.
For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. - Romans 1:16
The Scriptures will always be central in our services and studies. Because we believe that God has revealed his truth to us through his written word, we regard the preaching and teaching of the Bible as a top priority and essential element of the church. On Sunday mornings we primarily preach through books of the Bible verse by verse because we believe the Bible is best understood when each verse is seen within its proper context, as the biblical authors intended. While we do occasionally preach on a certain topic, it will always be in the context of a passage from Scripture. This verse-by-verse approach helps us to engage all of the scriptures while preventing us from picking soap box topics or avoiding difficult passages.
- SRC Will Receive Communion As A Part Of Our Sunday Morning Service The First Sunday Of Each Month, As Well As Other Appropriate Times Throughout The Year.

* WHAT ABOUT MY CHILDREN?
We love children at SRC! It won't take long after you visit to discover that we've been blessed with an abundance of young families and children. We see this as a great blessing, and at the same time, a sober responsibility. Fathers are primary in the spiritual care of their homes and families, along with the God-given blessing and support of his wife. A father, loving his Lord, his spouse (as Christ loves His church), and his children will always be the most effective means of raising godly children. We will seek to strengthen fathers and mothers for this task through the weekly proclamation of the Scriptures, worship, prayer, bible study, and fellowship with one another. We realize in a world wrecked by sin, this ideal is not always realized. We will seek to lovingly and graciously support single parents to the best of our ability, believing that God's grace is sufficient for every situation, and that He has created the local church to support and encourage in these situations.
We will also seek to strengthen the family by encouraging worship together. We provide a nursery for small children during our Sunday morning worship service, but encourage children to worship and learn alongside their parents. We offer age-specific Sunday School classes and SRC Wednesday Evening Ministries for all ages as well, with age-specific studies. At the end of each Wednesday evening we all meet in the Sanctuary for a closing time of worship and prayer.
